Instructions for Authors

  • Article for publication should be submitted through: ijpresearch01@gmail.com 
  • Papers previously not published elsewhere, in any field of philosophy can be considered for publication in the INDIAN JOURNAL OF PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH (IJPR)
  • Manuscript Format: A soft copy of the article typed in Times New Roman for English and Kalpurush for Bengali in font size 12 and the title of the article should be in font size 14. The article should be submitted in MS Word.
  • The manuscript should be typed in one and a half space on A4 size paper.
  • Suggested length of the article is about 3500 words to 5000 words including footnote and maximum 20 select Bibliography in APA format.
  • The first page of the manuscript should contain the author’s name, the title of the article and the author’s institutional affiliation along with a brief abstract (not more than 200 words) of the article.
  • Diagrams, figures etc. can be used provided they are absolutely necessary.
  • The words and/or citations from Sanskrit or any language other than English should be in Roman script, fully italicized and with standard dialectical marks.

  • Any kind of plagiarism will cause the paper to be rejected.

  • The authors must confirm through a declaration that their work is unique, free from any kind of plagiarism and hasn’t been published anywhere else.

Review Process: Completed research papers, research-in-progress papers, and case studies will be pre-screened for compliance with submission rules and general suitability for publication in this blind peer-reviewed journal. After completing the preliminary screening procedures, papers will undergo blind review.

Details of registration

There are no registration fees associated with publishing articles. However, the authors are to be paid a nominal processing expenses of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) to recover associated expenses if their paper is selected after review as we are running at no profit no loss basis.
